With a BA in English and a few evening courses at Philadelphia art schools, John Langdon is a self-taught graphic designer, ambigram artist, and painter. He taught Lettering courses at Moore College of Art for three years and Typography courses at Drexel University in Philadelphia for twenty-seven years. John is the originator of the art form known as ambigram design. Wordplay, his book of ambigrams, inspired Dan Brown to commission several ambigrams for his book, Angels & Demons, and Ron Howard’s film of the same name.
