tomb
Thirdy Japsay
and then all i can see is earth
beating human’s flesh in a silent duel,
it never harms us, nor them;
your body will get used to it
time to time in the enclosed space.
you hugged me: the littlest gap—
the biggest space—between two chests.
this body of yours is more perpetuated
than how the dirt, soil, and
unseen insects embrace
your mortality. but when i
stepped on the bed
above you, you never resent me
even the little roots of green things
reach you.
the earth is big but
never deep. i can reach you too
